The CPFM Safety Committee was formed from representatives throughout the department to identify and address safety issues in the workplace. Current initiatives:

• Ergonomics training program. Specially trained CPFM staff will work with general staff to create healthy office work environments
• Quarterly Meetings. The safety committee in conjunction with EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) work as a team to promote a safety agenda for CPFM staff
